Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.
Be joyful in the hope that comes through salvation in Christ Jesus…be patient while the storms of life are raging above, for rescue is coming from the Lord…be faithful in prayer, not allowing doubt to creep in for the Lord is certainly listening and will absolutely respond. Even if our life is nothing but ugliness, poverty, and famine, we can still find joy in knowing that for those in Christ, paradise is just around the corner…where every need will be met, every pain will be removed, and every sin will washed away. When we are in the midst of one of life’s numerous storms, we must remain patient for this storm too will pass. It may take time, but God will wash away the clouds and peace will be restored. When we pray, we must pray to the one true God and genuinely trust that he will respond. We must have no room for doubt, no room for worry, and no desire to stop our prayer…God is definitely real and definitely on the other end of the line. May we stand today joyful in what is to come ahead, patient while we are waiting, and faithful in our prayer to the one true God! To God be the glory!
